CEO’s Christmas Message
It’s mid-December already! The Christmas decorations are up, stores are brimming with Christmas fare and, as always, our team are making sure everyone else has a wonderful Christmas.
Supermarkets and service stations are such an essential service, always there when people need us, contributing to their quality of life and special occasions.
But services are delivered by people, not stores. As we head towards the end of another year, I want to thank all IRAM team for their continued dedication, hard work and professionalism throughout 2023.
Upgrade in the Flinders Ranges
In the heart of the Spectacular South Australian Flinders Ranges, IRAM planned and executed the upgrade of the Wilpena Pound IGA from an IGA Express to an IGA Local Grocer. The upgrade included the installation of new shelving, a full range review, new grocery, fresh and fridge/freezer layouts, and a fridge/freezer upgrade.

Barkly Voices Project: Keep My Culture Strong
The Barkly Voices Project, sponsored by IBA’s subsidiary IBA Retail Asset Management, saw 160 schoolchildren, Traditional Owners and community members from the Barkly Region contribute their voices. The singing collaboration has shown how music can unify communities in the Northern Territory.
Tennant Creek IGA Grand Opening
Tennant Creek celebrate the grand opening of its new IGA supermarket on 16 March after an extensive reconstruction and fit-out of the old site.
The celebrations include a Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony, ribbon cutting, and a free afternoon tea with a local band and activities for kids.
The original supermarket was destroyed by arson in July 2020, along with three adjoining tenancies. A temporary site was established to maintain a constant supply of food for the local community.
As we re-open Tennant Creek IGA, we reflect on how far we have come.
